Shuttle Service |
A shuttle service is available from Taupo to Rotorua on the Saturday morning of the event. Competitors will be coached from the Taupo Events Centre (finish of the event) to the Kingsgate Hotel in Rotorua leaving at 7am. Riders using the shuttle bus service must register at the Kingsgate Hotel on Friday and leave their bikes in the secured patrolled area with the organisers. No bikes will be carried on the shuttle buses!. There is an additional cost of $30 per person for this service.
If you wish to use this service you must pre-book by the 24th March. Bike and bag labels plus full instructions will be sent to your mailing address on receipt of your booking. Personal gear will be transported back to Taupo for your collection at the completion of your ride. |
Support
Crews
Available on course will be mechanics,
first-aid teams, a sag wagon, 2 x aid/drink stations plus
other event staff for your assistance to make this an enjoyable
and memorable ride. Avanti Plus will be available at the venue to assist with any mechanical problems or last minute equipment needs. |

Free
Bike Checks |
| Free bike checks are available for all Avanti 100k competitors
at your nearest Avanti Plus store. Bike checks are encouraged
but are not mandatory for this event. |

Souvenir Clothing |
| Souvenir event t-shirts are available for purchase by pre-order only at the special price of $35.00. These quality combed cotton t-shirts are available in both men's and women's styles and are a charcoal fleck colour.

Event Drink Bottle, Tasti Bar, Two Aid/Drink stations,
Can of Sealord Tuna, Nature Valley bar, bottle of Powerade, Jack Links product, Electronic timing, Hot showers, first-aid
and support, On-line certificate, plus a chance to win one
of the numerous spot prizes. Grade and major prizes will be
awarded at prize giving.

| Safety Cycling
Tips click

| Participants must wear an approved safety New
Zealand cycling helmet while riding the event. All road rules
are to be obeyed at all times as all roads are open to vehicle
traffic. It is requested that all support vehicles travel
to Taupo via S.H.30 and SH 1 and not the event route (except
relay riders official vehicles). |
